What the Settings page is for
In the wp-admin sidebar, open EdminBoost → Settings.
This page is for backup and restore only. It does not list every toggle in the plugin.
Most EdminBoost options live on other screens. Use those screens to change behavior, then save there.
Where to change what
Command Center (sidebar under EdminBoost):
- Dashboard — first-time setup and quick overview
- Layout Presets — saved layouts and role assignments
- Theme — visual theme and admin bar declutter
- Top Bar — shortcuts and drawer panels
- Menu Studio — sidebar order, hide items, custom links
Command Center tabs (horizontal bar at the top of EdminBoost pages):
- Productivity — notices, dashboard widgets, duplicators, and similar tools
- Security — comments, login redirects, and hardening options
- Performance — emojis, assets, Heartbeat, and related options
- White Label — agency branding and system status footer
Other sidebar items:
- Billing — plan information and upgrade links (no settings to save here)
- Settings — export and import your configuration as a JSON file
Who can use these screens
Only administrators (users who can manage site options) can open EdminBoost settings.
What gets stored
EdminBoost keeps your choices in the WordPress database under one main option: edminboost_settings. That includes Command Center layout, theme, features, and white label settings.
Privacy
EdminBoost does not send your settings to external servers. Export and import stay on your site unless you choose to download or upload a file yourself.
