ENABLE WHITE-LABEL BRANDING (master switch)
Off: values stored; no filters; status + rebrand sections greyed out in UI.
On (plus Pro + plugin enabled): footer, plugin row, and menu label filters run. Save after changing.
HIDE DEFAULT WORDPRESS FOOTER CREDIT
Clears the left admin footer via admin_footer_text when white label is active.
Does not remove other plugins’ footers unless they use the same hook.
Right footer = system status (separate doc).
PLUGIN REBRANDING
Fields (only non-empty values override):
- Plugin name → Plugins list name for EdminBoost.
- Plugin description → Plugins list description.
- Author / agency name → Plugins list author.
- Plugin URL → Plugin URI and Author URI on Plugins screen.
- Admin menu label → top-level EdminBoost menu text in sidebar.
Blank fields keep values from the plugin header file and default menu label EdminBoost. Preview shows defaults before save.
Does NOT change: folder/slug on disk, text domain, capabilities, Command Center tab names (only root menu label if set), other plugins.
SAVING
AJAX save like other CC pages; hidden enabled=1 so partial save won’t disable EdminBoost. Premium Free without Pro may wipe white label on sanitize.
AGENCY WORKFLOW
- Enable master toggle.
- Set plugin name + menu label (e.g. “Site Toolkit”).
- Set author + plugin URL to agency site.
- Optional: system status footer.
- Optional: admin favicon on Theme.
- Save; check Plugins + menu.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Menu/Plugins unchanged → master on, Pro active, fields filled, saved.
Sections greyed out → enable master toggle.
Settings revert → Pro enforcement on premium Free.
