ChecklistDek ships in two distribution styles: Community (WordPress.org) and Pro / Agency (full package from Asphalt Themes).
Community (WordPress.org)
Good for: teams who want a full hub on their own server with core checklist workflows.
- Unlimited connected sites on the hub
- Core checklist builder, sites, Batch Run, Activity Logs, integrations UI
- Starter template library (templates packaged in the Community build—focused categories such as security, maintenance, performance, ecommerce)
- Manual client panel setup (download bundle, upload to
mu-plugins/, verify on hub) - Three client panel layout choices in Settings
- Manual drift verification on Batch Run (no scheduled drift cron in Community)
- No Auto-Capture, agency vault, email/webhook notifications, or hub auto-deploy of the panel
Community does not phone home for analytics. Outbound traffic is limited to sites you register and actions you start (connect, test, push, optional connector sync).
Pro and Agency (full build)
Good for: larger template libraries, notifications, auto-deploy, and advanced operations.
| Feature | Pro / Agency |
|---|---|
| Full template library (all built-in JSON templates in the package) | |
| Agency vault (private template storage) | |
| Auto-Capture (record admin actions into checklist steps) | |
| Email and Slack / Discord / Teams webhooks (opt-in events) | |
| Scheduled drift verification (cron) | |
| Hub auto-deploy of client panel when credentials allow | |
| Nine client panel layouts | |
| MainWP Push Client Panel without hub Application Passwords (when MainWP is set up) |
Site limits on licensed full builds are defined by your plan (see Compare plans or ChecklistDek → Billing on a Pro install).
Choosing a plan
| If you need… | Start with… |
|---|---|
| Self-hosted hub, manual panel upload, core checklists | Community |
| Full templates, webhooks, auto-deploy, capture, scheduled drift | Pro / Agency |
Upgrading: install the full package on the same hub, activate your license, and keep using existing sites and checklists in the database. Export custom checklists first if you want a backup.
